Introducing Anna Landseadel, our Communications Manager. With a desire to utilize her bachelor degree in business administration, she has been volunteering with Upequity since its founding. Now that Upequity has grown, she is excited to officially be hired onto the team!
Anna lives with her husband and 7 children in Kokomo, Indiana. For 18 years she specialized in fostering and adopting children with therapeutic special needs. She had over 40 foster care placements of medically and emotionally fragile children and ended up adopting 5 of them, as well as adopting 1 from Ukraine. Nearly all of her children have some type of rare disease or special needs. This experience in parenting has allowed her to advocate for rare disease policy at the state and national levels. We are excited to have her join our team!
